The Sims 2 Starter Pack - by osab

The Starter Pack is an all-in-one source for obtaining, installing, and optimizing TS2 on modern hardware.

Choose your favorite flavor from the latest release and follow the Full Installation Guide to begin!

Flavors:

Web Installer (Recommended) GitHub file size in bytes

  • Lightweight NSIS-based web installer
  • Downloads The Sims 2 Starter Pack (Fixed Ultimate Collection with Sims2RPC by Lazy Duchess included)
  • Automates Touchup process based on the install directory
  • Install dependencies (optional): x86 VC Redist & .NET Framework
  • Recommended/Optional components: Graphics Rules Maker, DXVK, SimNopke's shadow fix, and desktop/start menu shortcuts

Standalone Installer (Offline Version) GitHub file size in bytes

  • Lightweight NSIS-based installer intended for offline use with Ultimate Collection game files
  • Automates Touchup process based on the install directory, then installs Sims2RPC
  • Offline installations for dependencies (optional): x86 VC Redist & .NET Framework
  • Offline installations for recommended/optional components: Graphics Rules Maker, DXVK, SimNopke's shadow fix, and desktop/start menu shortcuts
